Mullen High School Announces Hiring

New volleyball head coach, Jeff Oliver

Mullen High School is pleased to announce Mr. Jeff Oliver as its new head volleyball coach.

Mullen’s Athletic Director, Mr. Vince Massey states, “Mullen High School is very excited to welcome back one of its own, Mr. Jeff Oliver, as our new head volleyball coach.  He brings a wealth of experience and a passion for volleyball that will be very welcomed at Mullen.

A longtime player of both indoor and outdoor volleyball, Coach Oliver is a former Mullen student (‘7?) who has coached volleyball for 15 years.  Jeff began his high school coaching at D’Evelyn High School where he worked his way up the ranks from the lower level programs to varsity head coach where his team won a 4A league championship.  Coach Oliver, also, has extensive experience coaching on the club level having worked with multiple clubs over the past 15 years and with various age groups ranging from U13 teams to U17 teams and everything in between.  Currently, Jeff is with the Colorado Volleyball Association working as the head coach with the U15 teams.

One who is eager to develop the student athletes to become better volleyball players, Jeff is equally committed to their development as responsible young ladies beyond the volleyball court.  Jeff states “I am very excited about the opportunity to be the head coach of the Mullen volleyball program, and I am looking forward to sharing my love and passion of the sport.
