Homecoming Week Specifics

 
Monday, 10/3: "Mass in Emerald City"
  • Single Mass Schedule
  • Dress: Mass Dress
  • The "best-dressed" award goes to the best dressed male and female students. Students should submit entries by 3pm on Instagram with #EmeraldCityMHS.
Tuesday, 10/4: "Over the Rainbow" 
  • Regular Schedule
  • Dress: bright colors, rainbow apparel, jeans
  • The "best-dressed" award goes to the best dressed male and female students. Students should submit entries by 3pm on Instagram with #RainbowMHS.
  • Lunch Activity: Screening of The Wizard of Oz with popcorn in the Rilko during lunch. Donations for LHL encouraged - funds go toward helping students with Homecoming and Prom tickets and attire. 
Wednesday, 10/5: "Which Witch Wednesday"
  •  Late Start
  • Dress: dress as a twin with someone else
  • The "best-dressed" award goes to the best "twins" and/or group. Students should submit entries by 3pm on Instagram with #WhichWitchMHS.
  • Lunch Activity: Corn hole, sack race, 3-legged race outside Christian Brothers
Thursday, 10/6: "If I Only Had..."
  •  Regular Schedule
  • Dress: dress up as what you wish you had - brains (suspenders, glasses), heart (King or Queen of hearts, etc), or courage (superhero), jeans
  • "Best-dressed" award to the best dressed male and female students who submit entries via Instagram by 3pm using #IfIOnlyHadAMHS.
  • Lunch Activity: Scavenger hunt around campus for courage, heart, and brain
Friday, 10/7: "No Place Like Homecoming"
  • Schedule: Class of 2017 group photo at the fountain 7:45am.  Classes will end at noon, followed by a pep rally (12-1pm), carnival (1-3pm), and powder puff football game (2-3pm). Students will be dismissed at 3pm. Faculty watch duties will be distributed within the next week. Teachers, please escort your classes to the rally.
  • Homecoming football game will begin at 7:00pm.
  • Dress: Mullen spirit dress, jeans
  • Best-dressed Mullen spirit contest ends at 3pm on Instagram at #NoPlaceLikeHoco.
Saturday, 10/8: Homecoming Dance
  • Dance: 8:00-11:00pm @ Sports Authority Field at Mile High (1701 Bryant St, Denver 80204). Mullen will enter the dance through Gate 2 on the west side of the stadium - parking in lot C.
  • Students will not be admitted after 9:00pm
  • Tickets are $35 per person. They can be purchased online via the Mullen website through Friday, 10/7, at midnight, or in person at the carnival (in the 200 lobby).
  • Non-Mullen student guests are allowed at the dance with a proper guest pass signed and turned in by October 5th at 3pm.
