The MULLEN PARENT KAIROS is open to any parent and/or guardian of the current graduating senior class of 2017, as well as current parents of our sophomores (Class of 2019) and juniors (Class of 2018).
The Parent Kairos Retreat aims to create a reflective environment for our parents, and/or guardians in which the ever-present love of God can be experienced, renewed and refreshed. St. John Baptist De la Salle wrote to a brother, "The remembrance of God's presence will be a great advantage in helping you and inspiring you to do all your actions well." Each one of us is called to be present in our relationship with self, others, and the Lord. The Parent Kairos Retreat seeks to proclaim and make real this relationship, as well as raise awareness of God's holy presence in all things, most especially, in our history as individuals and our family systems.
The general misison of the Parent Kairos Retreat is to develop in adult Christians an awareness of their ability and call to become Lasallian witnesses to build the Kingdom of God at Mullen High School and within our world.
The weekend starts on a Friday afternoon and concludes on Sunday night. During these three days it is our prayer and hope that each parent will:
