MULLEN PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION (MPA)
The Mullen Parents' Association (MPA) would like to Welcome You! As a parent you are a part of MPA. There are no sign ups and no dues just instant access to many opportunities to get involved, meet other parents and have fun!!! Our mission is to provide ALL parents and guardians of Mullen High School students with opportunities for community building, including, but not limited to spiritual growth, fundraising and volunteering. We are here to help build a sense of community and be a resource to you for any questions you might have. Mission: The Mullen Parents' Association is to provide all parents and guardians of Mullen High School Students with opportunities for community building , which include but are not limited to spiritual growth, fundraising and volunteering.
MUSTANG OUTFITTERS: School store run and operated by the MPA. Store hours: Monday’s during lunch and every Tuesday and Thursday 2:30-3:30. Please click here to reach the SignUp Genius to volunteer with sales.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH: This committee addresses the needs of the Mullen Community, prayers and family assistance during crisis. Thursday Prayer Warriors: Weekly Rosary and prayer intentions recited in the Mullen Chapel on Thursday morning 8:10am. All parents, friends and family welcomed to join us in praying for students, faculty, staff, and the Mullen Community. Class representatives lead the prayer service: week 1-freshman parent/s, week 2-sophomore parent/s, week 3-junior parent/s, week 4-senior parent/s. Mullen High School Ambassador Program: A team of parents reach out to incoming freshman parents. The goal is to make contact with each family the summer prior to the start of school and continue contact during the year. Mullen Prayer Chain: Updated as needs arise.
HOSPITALITY: This committee plans and works the many welcoming events: Freshman Ambassadors, Parent/Teacher Conference, Teacher Treats, Open House, Freshman Interviews. The need for donations and volunteers are listed on SignUp Genius throughout the year.
SENIOR CITIZEN PROM: Each year the students under the direction and planning of this committee hosts a Prom for approximately Senior Citizens from the Denver metro community. Friday after school the set-up is done with the dance taking place on Saturday. Students escort, serve and dance with the seniors at the dance. Committee begins meeting in fall.
AFTERPROM: Parents help host the after party the night of the Junior/Senior Prom. Prizes are donated and purchased from donations. Check in and prize distributions is done on the night of the event. SENIOR BREAKFAST: A light grab and go breakfast is provided to graduating seniors the morning of rehearsal for the commencement ceremony. Volunteers and donations are listed on SignUp Genius in spring.
PreOWNED UNIFORM SALE: Previously owned uniforms and outerwear are sold twice a year in fall and spring. These are the biggest MPA fundraisers of the year that support the other committees. Volunteers are listed on SignUp Genius prior to the dates. Used clothing can be brought in throughout the year and left at the front desk at Mullen.
