Brother Bernard Kinneavy, commonly known as ‘Mr. Mullen’, began his work at Mullen in 1964. Through his vocation and the Christian Brothers of St. John Baptist de La Salle, Brother Bernard initially spent his time in the classroom teaching. In the years to follow, he served Mullen as Principal, Alumni Coordinator, Director of Development and President before his passing in November 2001.  He is an influential and memorable person in the history and tradition of Mullen High School.  Known as an avid supporter of tuition assistance for the students of Mullen High School, Brother Bernard was equally supportive of the athletic activities.  All 2017 proceeds for the golf classic will be used to support the athletic department.

Sponsor Quote:

“Well worth the value! We had great exposure, a massive banner placed right at the entrance to the course. Was it good for the business? . . . Sure! But it’s more about pride to be able to come back and support Mullen now that I’m able to do so in the business world. It much more about a pride thing!”
