By now, you are aware a big astrological event is quickly approaching.  On  Monday, August 21, a solar eclipse will be visible across the entire United States. Although, Colorado will not view the totality  (the area where the sun is completely blocked out by the moon), we will be able to see a partial eclipse where 92% of the sun will be covered by the moon.  A total solar eclipse visible in the United States will not occur again until April 8, 2024.
In order to ensure the safety of our students and to give our families the opportunity to view this unique event, Mullen High School will NOT be in session on Monday, August 21.
We hope you take advantage of the release day to enjoy this rare event!
