Our library is named for beloved faculty member and speech coach, Frank Sferra, who has taught at Mullen for more than 40 years and who has been a key player in developing competitive speech as an activity in Colorado and across the nation.
Library Policies
The Frank Sferra Research Center is a place for academic work. Students are expected to speak in quiet tones and to be respectful of their classmates’ need for quiet. Our 34 workstations are for student research purposes only.
Students who use the computers for personal correspondence, games, or other non-school-related purposes will be asked to leave the library.
Checkout policies
* Books from the regular stacks may be checked out for 3 weeks. (Late fee: 10¢ per day)
* Reference books may be checked out for overnight use. (Late fee: 50¢ per day)
* Books placed on reserve by teachers for classroom use may not be checked out.
Students may print out their work from the library computers at the following rates:
* 10¢ per page for black and white.
* 25¢ per page for color printing.
