Shadowing
Please call the admission office to schedule a shadowing visit at Mullen High School. The program begins on September 14, 2010. Our program is a full-day visit. Openings are filled on first come, first served basis. Students are required to be in Mullen dress code and bring money for lunch. The shadowing program continues through February. Spring Family Information Night
Mullen High School is hosting an Admission Information Night on Thursday, May 6, 2010at 7:00PM in the Rilko Events Center. This meeting is designed to answer any questions families have about the high school application process in an informal and relaxed environment. This is the ideal opportunity to learn more about the Mullen High School experience.
Mullen Open House
Mullen’s Open House will be held in the fall of 2010. The date has not been set but is usually in late October or early November. This date coincides with the other Catholic high schools in the Denver metro area. You are invited to see for yourself what MULLEN is all about. It’s the perfect opportunity to tour our campus, see our state-of-the-art facilities, and get a handle on our rigorous college prep curriculum. Students, faculty, staff, administrators and parents will all be available. You can also register for the High School Placement Test at the Open House. ·
High School Placement Test
The HSPT exam will be offered this year on Saturday, December 4, 2010. This test will be given at MULLEN and is a requirement for all 8th grade students who are applying to Catholic high schools in the Denver area.
Application Deadline
All Paperwork DueThe application deadline is Friday, December 17, 2010. Mullen begins its Christmas break shortly after this day and we need all paperwork necessary to complete your file at that time. This includes:
1. Application for Admission
2. Teacher Recommendation(s) (Between 1-3 different recommendations)
3. Transcripts and most recent report card from your current school ·
Interview
Each candidate that has completed the application process by the deadline will be invited to interview with a member of our faculty. The interviews will occur in January of 2011. This process allows both the candidate and the families the opportunity to learn more about Mullen and for the Mullen faculty to put “personality to paper”. A brief writing sample will also be completed at this time. Exact dates will follow in the fall of 2010.
Decision Announcement
The date for decisions will be February 17, 2011. All decisions will be mailed on the decision date. No freshman class decisions will be available until that day.
