Community Life

Ministries. Activities. Athletics. One of the keys to a dynamic and healthy school climate is the enrichment that comes from a first-class co-curricular program. At Mullen, students choose from an exceptional range of opportunities to find just the right activity to suit their talents and interests. In our “Community Life” team approach to student co-curriculars, Student Activities and Pastoral Ministries combine to create a student life umbrella that promotes a culture of unified academic, spiritual, and social development that is a hallmark of Lasallian schools.

Throughout the year, our students particpate in regular school prayer and school Masses, student retreats, service learning projects and immersion trips, social events, and over 40 student organizations. In addition, we are a member of the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) and the 5A Centennial League. We enjoy a long-standing tradition of excellence in interscholastic competition. Since 1989, Mullen’s young men’s and young women’s teams have brought home 33 league and 51 state team championships in 15 different sports.

In our co-curricular programs, students learn the values of honor, integrity, responsibility, discipline, motivation, achievement, and, above all, community. Our school is first and foremost, a community of faith where all education is done for the sake of building God's Kingdom and where all students know each other as family and work together to be their best and truest selves at all times and in all things. It‘s what we call “being a Mustang” – that’s the Mullen experience!
