Service Learning

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is only thing that ever has.”   - Margaret Mead
The Service Learning Program at Mullen High School was introduced three years ago as a way for students, through organized service learning programs, to put their faith into action and further the cause of  social justice by participating in community outreach programs.  These service projects enable student to share faith, prayer, individual reflection, and lessons in community building thus truly living the Lasallian Core Principle of concern of the poor and social justice. The Office of Service Learning, looks forward in sharing the bonds our Mullen students will form by engaging with those who are marginalized by society, by challenging the perceived boundaries between self and others and truly believing they can make a difference.
