College Counseling Handbook

At Mullen High School approximately 95% of our graduating seniors attend post-secondary institutions to continue their lifelong educational endeavors. This result is not without great effort, care and vigilance of our counselors who begin the college planning process during the academic counseling process, through the Junior and Senior College Information nights, the application process and finally, acceptance to a college or university best suited for each student. The college planning process begins with test preparation tools and classes available to all students. The process continues as representatives of colleges and universities are encouraged and welcomed to the Mullen campus to meet prospective students. Finally, the Mullen Counseling Office provides a unique web-based program which assists our students with college selection, application and selection tools ensuring our students make the best choices for themselves and their futures.

College and University Visits

Representatives from colleges and universities are also welcome to make appointments with Ila Rosengarten for visits during the school day. Students are encouraged to check the school calendar and counseling office for update listings of college and university representative visits.
