As a senior at James Madison, she lost most of her season and it was particularly annoying – two years earlier, the Bulldogs were defending NCAA Division I Champions. ... A decorated defender at Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Md., as well as with James Madison, Russell is in the infancy of her coaching career, having worked some clinics, summer camps, clubs and at National Cathedral H.S. in Washington, D.C. ... She's an electrical engineer for utilities.
