Mustangs to hoop at The Can

All levels of Mullen boys basketball will have rare opportunities to play at the Pepsi Center on Tuesday (June 11).

In an interesting off-season program headed by NYC Basketball Kids and Playbook (Sports Management Software), the Mustangs will hoop in the off-season where the Nuggets recently hooped for their regular season and NBA Playoffs.

“It’s great for the kids,” Mustangs head coach Bob Caton said.

At noon, Mullen Feeder teams will scrimmage, followed by Varsity vs. Junior Varsity at 12:50 p.m., and Sophomores vs. Incoming Freshman at 1:40 p.m.

Caton said it’s a practice that has been done in multiple NBA cities.
