4A golf tourney in WIndsor.
Mullen will participate in its final sporting event in 2018-19 on Monday and Tuesday … weather permitting, of course, fitting for this spring season .
unior Paige Sowitch and freshman Sofia Choi will be in the Class 4A golf championships to be held at Pelican Lakes G.C. in Windsor. Sowitch will tee off on the first tee at 8:48 a.m. on Monday and Choi will be at 9:24 a.m.

Choi also will be in a threesome with Holy Family’s Hailey Schalk, a junior and two-time 3A champion.

Mullen’s best player all season, Choi won three tournaments in the regular season, including two in the 5A-based Centennial League. She also won at regionals.

Choi also will be playing at the site where Mullen head coach Ashley Tait won the first of her three state titles. Only Tait and Cherry Creek’s Lynn Ann Moretto have been medalists three times.

With inclement weather looming, the two-day tournament could be cut down to as few as 18 holes.
