Mustangs headed ti Englewood on Saturday.
Mullen boys and girls cross country are headed to Saturday's (Aug. 27) Windjammer Invitational to be held at Englewood.

Schedule:

9 a.m.: Boys Varsity

9:40 a.m.: Girls Varsity

10:20 a.m.: Boys JV/Open

10:45 a.m.: Girls JV/Open

Varsity races will have a 10-run, five-wscore format; JV races are unlimited entries.

Due to the early season time frame of the meet, varsity races will be the normal 3.1-mile distance, but the lower-level race this year will be 2 miles as many teams have new runners fresh from tryouts. (The JV course is slightly longer at approximately 2.11 miles, but to avoid congestion going up the initial hill officials have opted to stay with the same starting line.as the varsity race.
