What I’ve done lately: At the Colorado Class 4A meet earlier this week, set Mullen program marks in preliminaries in the 200-yard medley relay, 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle relay. In the finals, helped the 200 medley relay finish second; was fifth in the 200 IM; sixth in 100 butterfly; and was part of the 200 free relay that was first.
Grade-point average: 4.11.
Class: Junior.
Why I attend Mullen: I really enjoy the community aspect and academics, as well as the swimming.
The best thing about my sport: I like how it’s both an individual sport and a team sport because you kind of get both.
In my future: Going to college … my first official visit, hopefully, will be in April at TCU.
Pre-meet ritual: I pretty much do the same warmup and before the race I have three jumps behind the block.
Favorite college team: Penn State.
Why I swim: I love the bonds I make with people and it helps me not only in the pool but in the day-to-day aspect poolside. And it makes everyone a better person.
