High-school sports: Ice hockey (wing); tennis (No. 2 doubles, 4A Colorado runner-up); and baseball (outfielder).

Grade-point average: 3.5.
Class: Senior.
Why I attend Mullen: I think because of the community. I walked in and was greeted with happy smiles and by everyone’s faces … they just welcomed me. That’s what I love about it. I think it’s just a family.
The best thing about my sport: I think the best things about my sports are the guys I get to play with. I’ve met some of my best friends through sports.
In my future: I’ll be attending Miami University (Ohio) and intend on playing club sports and majoring in business.
Pre-Game ritual: I listen to the same tunes … the big rappers.
Favorite college team: My parents, Todd and Amy, are both (University of Colorado Buffaloes) and I like watching CU football.
Why I play: It keeps me out of trouble and I think it’s just -- again, to restate it -- the people around me. They really make me want to play more.
