What I’ve done lately: Earlier this week, finished runner-up in the Class 4A Tournament held at the Country Club of Colorado. Was a four-time state qualifier – 20th as a freshman, seventh as a sophomore and 18th as a junior.
Grade-point average: 3.7.
Class: Senior.
Why I attend Mullen: I attend Mullen because I really like the community and the education you get, and the opportunity to play sports.
The best thing about my sport: I like it that you involve the mental game a lot in the sport. I think it’s the most mentally evolving sport as you have to be able to think about shots and execute them.
In my future: I’m looking at playing golf in college … I’m up in the air about it, looking at Occidental and a few others, such as the University of Colorado, Elon, Rollins … and I’ll major in politics.
Pre-Match ritual: I used to do nothing, but now I’ve tried stretching my arms and legs, and I just hit the range early. I have a routine there.
Favorite college team: CU Buffaloes in all sports.
Why I play: I play just to get better and compete. Obviously, I’ve worked at the sport all of my life and I just want to showcase my game. But it’s a fun game and great knowing you can play well and go into a tournament and compete.
