High-school sports: Football (placekicker and punter) and lacrosse (faceoff-midfielder).
What I’ve done lately: Through two games, is 3-for-3 on field goals, 2-for-2 in conversion kicks, 42.0-yard punting average.
Grade-point average: 4.22.
Class: Senior.
Why I attend Mullen: I would say I knew a lot of people coming in, a lot of friends going here and others who had gone through here … I went to kind of like a feeder school (St. Mary’s) and a lot of the kids had gone here.
The best thing about my sport: Just the team environment (in football), having all of the teammates and everyone there, especially with the game being in the stadium and seeing everyone watching you … it’s just a surreal experience.
In my future: I’m hoping to go to college for football, hopefully Division I, and to study biomechanical engineering. (Has an offer from Northern Colorado and been talking with San Diego, Lehigh, Lafayette and Holy Cross.)
Pre-Game ritual: I pretty much just go play, but I get focused and listen to music, just want to get mentally prepared.
Favorite college team: Texas Longhorns football, my Dad (Tim) went there.
Why I play: I started out playing just for fun, but I thought ‘why not give kicking a try?’ I just love doing it, having the brotherhood around you and getting to be part of that team.
