The Mustangs moved to 7-0 overall, 5-0 in league.

Mullen lost only nine games in the match, just four in singles.

Senior Lauren Manwiller, sophomore Alexia Yost and junior Marin Smith cruised in singles. In doubles, Brooklyn Hanley-Parker Durand, Izzy Desjardins-Tierney Scanlan, Aubryanne Leugers-Madeline Crites and Clara Dailey-Renee Hoyt handled things in doubles.

In a three-match week, the Mustangs will be at Ralston Valley in nonleague on Wednesday, May 19, at the Apex Tennis Center, 3:30 p.m., in nonleague and host Smoky Hill on Thursday, May 20, 3:45 p.m., in league. It also will pit Smoky Hill’s Valerie Negin, the 2019 Class 5A No. 1 singles champion, against Manwiller, a fair bet to win at 4A No. 1 singles.
