Keeping track: Undermanned 'Stangs grind through league meet No. 3
With graduation on same day as the latest qualifier, it wasn't Mullen's best lineup, but Dwol and Tolbert take firsts.
GREENWOOD VILLAGE – Centennial League Qualifier No. 3, held Friday and Saturday at multiple sites and completed at the Stutler Bowl, didn’t witness Mullen’s best attempts.
In addition to a lightning delay at the end of the meet, the Mustangs had their 86th graduation earlier Saturday morning and were not in full force.
As it was, the boys finished eighth as a team and the girls were sixth.
However, Mullen was not without some strong performances, including Agur Dwol winning her specialty, the triple jump, and Jack Tolbert taking first in the 3,200 meters.
