Brandon Hane and Keegan Quinn highlight Mullen’s postseason selections for boys lacrosse.

The two made first team in the new Class 5A No. 1 League, one of the different groups in the 2020-21school year of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The two, seniors and both on attack, led seven Mustangs in the three levels of the No. 1 League’s honors.

Hane was first in Mullen scoring despite missing three games. He put in 35 goals and added eight assists.

Quinn was third among Mustangs with 24 goals and tops on the team with 18 assists.

Chris Bougie, a junior middie with 14 goals, and Noah Wanja, another junior who also had a shutout as a goalie, were cited No. 1 second team.

Sophomore Nicky Bond (26 goals, second on the team), Wyatt Hart (freshman defenseman) and Connor Warren (junior midfielder, eight goals, nine assists) were named honorable mention.

The Mustangs, despite an 8-2 record in 2021, did not make the playoffs.
