Ryan Brady, Student-Athlete of the Week

High school sports:
Golf (Mustangs’ top player) and baseball (infielder-outfielder).

What I’ve done lately:
Shot 3-over-par 75 at The Links at Cobble Creek in Montrose in regionals to finish third and help Mullen qualify as a team. Also fired a career- and program-low 68 (4-under) at Aurora Hills Golf Course in a Centennial League Tournament.

Grade-point average:
4.1.

Class:
Sophomore.

Why I attend Mullen:
Just because my family has always gone (here) and the the community -- I really like it.

The best thing about my sport:
In golf, I really like the competition  with other players and how hard the sport really is. It’s a challenge.

In my future:
I’d like to go somewhere for baseball or golf for college; academic-wise, I’m not sure or about my career,

Pre-Game ritual:
None, I just go play.

Favorite college team:
Alabama football.

Why I play:
I just think it’s a fun way to get out … they’ll always be there for you. It’s lots of fun to comp and I’ve always played.
