Bella Aragon, Student-Athlete of the Week

High school sports:
Softball (center fielder) and basketball (guard).

What I’ve done lately:
Entering Thursday, Mustangs leadoff hitter was batting .574 with a .639 on-base percentage and 23 stolen bases.

Grade-point average:
3.8.

Class:
Senior.

Why I attend Mullen:
Both my parents (Mike, Class of 1996) and Mom (Ammie, ‘97) attended Mullen and so did a bunch of my aunts and uncles and cousins, and my brother (Mike, ‘19) ... it’s kind of just in the blood.

The best thing about my sport:
Probably being with the team and competing against good competition.

In my future:
Hoping to play in college at a school close to home and I want to major in hospitality management.

Pre-Game ritual:
My teammate, Elizabeth (Brady), always puts in my fair hair bow before I put on my shoes.

Favorite college team:
I like Oregon softball, they’re a good group.

Why I play:
I am a more determined person and by playing I have more caring toward others and I work harder.
