Carter Hill, Student-Athlete of the Week
High-school sport: Ice hockey (defenseman) and soccer (goalie).
What I’ve done lately: Seasoned defenseman is having his best season to date.
Grade-point average: 4.5.
Class: Senior.
Why I attend Mullen: I was deciding between Regis (Jesuit) and here, Catholic schools, and I liked the atmosphere here a lot better.
The best thing about my sport: Probably skating, how unique it is and how it feels to go that fast.
In my future: I’ll study computer science, likely at Auburn, but I won’t play a sport in college.
Pre-Game ritual: I really just go play. I don’t really have any superstitions.
Favorite college team: Illinois, mainly men’s basketball.
Why I play: I think I do it because I enjoy being active and having accountability, to grow physically and the ability to grow personally.
