Abbey Lathrop

 

Abbey Lathrop Korn is the Sports Performance Dietitian for Mullen High School in Denver, Colorado. She joined the Mustangs in the Summer of 2022.

Currently, she is the Team Dietitian for the MLS Colorado Rapids Soccer Club. Abbey spent three seasons as the first full-time dietitian for the Denver Nuggets from 2021-24.

In the 2018-2019 season, she worked with the Chicago Bears and served as the performance dietitian at EXOS. While at EXOS, she spearheaded the NFL Combine Training nutrition program and provided nutrition support to all EXOS clients, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, LPGA, MLS, Olympic, collegiate, NFLPA, tactical, and youth athletes. From 2014-15, she helped the USA Field Hockey team prepare for the Rio Olympic games.

Abbey is a native of Kennett Square, PA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Penn State University and was a rowing team member. While at Penn State, she was a student intern with the Sports Nutrition department. She earned her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition from Florida State University. While attending FSU, she worked with the Sports Nutrition department. In addition, she is a registered dietitian and a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD). 

Abbey resides in Highlands Ranch, CO with her husband Mike & their dog Bode.
