MULLEN CHEER ENTERS AN EXCITING NEW ERA

The future is bright, the energy is building, and the spirit is stronger than ever.

We are thrilled to officially announce Lilly Konkle as the new Head Coach of the Mullen Cheerleading Program - a leader who embodies everything Mullen Cheer stands for and everything it is becoming.

Lilly brings more than 12 years of cheerleading experience, from her time as a varsity cheerleader to competing as a collegiate Stunt athlete. This past season, she made an immediate impact as an assistant coach, helping guide Mullen Cheer through one of the most successful and historic years our program has ever seen.

And what a year it was.

Mullen Cheer reached new heights by capturing its first-ever National Championship, advancing to the State Finals for the first time in nine years, and finishing 8th overall in the state. Along the way, we celebrated individual excellence as well, with a senior earning CHSAA All-State First Team honors and a junior receiving Honorable Mention recognition.

Now, we turn the page—and the momentum continues.

Lilly’s vision goes beyond competition. She is deeply committed to building strong, confident cheerleaders while creating an atmosphere of infectious school spirit that energizes our entire Mullen community. Her passion for developing young women, fostering meaningful relationships, and pushing for excellence will elevate our program in every way—on the mat, on the sidelines, and throughout the school.

Lilly is already hard at work assembling a coaching staff that will support, challenge, and inspire our athletes as we continue to grow into one of the premier programs in the state and beyond. The excitement surrounding Mullen Cheer is real—and it’s only just beginning.
