High school sport: Volleyball (setter, right-side hitter).
What I’ve done lately: Helped the Mustangs win three of their past four matches as the end of the regular season nears.
Grade-point average: 4.02.
Why I attend Mullen: I live really close and thought it would be a good school for sports and academics and community, and that’s what I was looking for.
The best thing about my sport: I like the community about it. I played basketball (for) a long time ago and it was not a very positive sport. I like volleyball because you can be competitive while being safe.
In my future: Considering biology or business, looking at schools across the country.
Pre-Game ritual: I just go play. Before the (match) our team will sit still and silent for a minute and see what we want to do and how we want to play.
Favorite college team: No favorite.
Why I play: I guess I have a passion for the sport. It has really brought me into being a leader and opens up my horizons to bigger things. I just really enjoy it, being with the people and having a good time.
