From state championships in Colorado to the historic streets of northern Italy, Dale O’Blia continues to build a legacy defined by discipline, leadership, and ambition.
A Class of 2024 graduate of Mullen High School, Dale was recently honored with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: carrying the Olympic torch through Bergamo, northeast of Milan, as part of the Olympic torch relay. The moment named him one of the highly selective torchbearers for the 63-day journey spanning roughly 7,500 miles, an honor reserved for individuals whose stories reflect the values of sport, service, and perseverance.

Different sports. Different journeys. One common thread: The Mustang commitment.
At Mullen High School, excellence isn’t an accident; it’s a standard. This winter, that standard was on full display as two student-athletes delivered championship performances on Colorado’s biggest stages.
Natalie Bradac ’27 captured the Girls’ Swimming & Diving State Championship in the 50M Freestyle and finished second in the 100M Breaststroke.
Isaak Chavez ’26 claimed the 3A 175-pound Wrestling State Championship, on top of earning a state ring as a member of the Boys’ Soccer State Championship team.
