Netters sweep Grandvew 7-0

Mullen dominates league dual meet; Kent Denver is next.
Mullen boys tennis swept Grandview on Tuesday in the Centennial League.

The Mustangs won 7-0 and took all seven matches in two sets.

In improving to 7-2 in dual meets on the season and 3-1 in league, junior Mac Caldwell led the way at No. 1 singles by winning 6-1, 7-6.

At No. 2, George Henry Hanzel cruised in 6-1, 6-1 and No. 3 Tanner Amman won 6-4, 6-2.

In doubles, the No. 1 group of J.P. Starkey-Coleman Guthrie won by 6-2, 6-2; No. 2 Greg McMullan-Jack Barker by 6-2, 6-3; No. 3 Charlie Manta-Luc Caldwell by 6-1, 6-1; and No. 4 Roman Fresquez-Kevin McGuire by 6-4, 6-1.

Mullen will be at Kent Denver in Cherry Hills Village on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 4 p.m.
