  • Admissions Assistant

    Mullen High School is seeking to hire an Admission Assistant. The applicant would be expected to support the Admissions Department in all efforts related to the admissions and recruitment process. This full-time position reports to the Director of Admission. 

    Salary Range: $16.35 to $18.27 per hour

    Essential Job Functions 
    • Understands, emphasizes and supports the Lasallian and Catholic nature of the school at all times and through all responsibilities and programs. 
    • Models the role of a Lasallian educator to promote student behavior that is supportive and conducive to the implementation of the school’s instructional programs and goals. 
    • Exemplifies and upholds the expectations and actions of Lasallian professionalism. 
    Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
    • Off campus school visits and other related recruitment events. 
    • Schedule prospective student shadow visits. 
    • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective families throughout the entirety of the admissions and recruitment process. 
    • Manage and update the admission portion of the Mullen website. 
    • Create the prospective students admissions record in the processing of the inquiry form or online application. 
    • Maintain the admissions side of MyMullen (Admissions Online Portal) 
    • Maintain and update the online applicant files. 
    • Update applicant checklist portion of the record. 
    • Evaluate admissions decisions on applicant files. 
    • Send out the Admission acceptance packages and other decision letters. 
    • Stay in contact with families through personal phone calls and emails. 
    • Give personalized campus tours with families. 
    • Work with the Office of Enrollment Management with the planning and execution of all admissions events which include but are not limited to: Open House, Parent Information Nights, High School Placement Test, School Fairs, Interviews, Academic Information Night and Welcome Celebrations, and New Family Orientation. 
    • Enroll applicants. 
    • Other duties as assigned within the Office of Enrollment Management. 
    Skills 
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work in rapidly changing situations. 
    • Extensive knowledge of database systems – familiarity with Blackbaud is preferred. 
    • Ability to work with Google and Microsoft products. 
    • Need to have good organizational skills.
  • Guitar Teacher (Trimester 2)

    Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed teacher to teach Beginning Guitar Classes during the second trimester of the 2021-2022 school year. The second trimester begins on Monday, November 15, 2021 and concludes on Friday, February 25, 2022.

    The applicant is expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential and to begin to discover their musical potential. The applicant must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

  • Math Teacher (2021-2022 Long-term Sub)

    This is a long term sub position beginning on November 2021 and continuing through May 2022

    Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed teacher to teach mathematics potentially including classes covering Pre-Calculus, Algebra and Geometry and/or other topics.

    The applicant is expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The applicant must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

This is a full-time position for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.     Mullen High School is seeking Substitute Teachers to cover classes for teachers who are on retreat, attending conferences, or traveling to school-related events. Substitute teachers will be asked to monitor classes, proctor tests, and deliver simplified lesson plans.

  • Head Boys Tennis Coach

    Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic and committed Head Boy’s Tennis Coach. The Coach is expected to provide leadership, plan, organize, and be responsible for a comprehensive and competitive interscholastic Tennis program as well as present an enthusiastic professional looking Spirit squad to represent the entire athletic program. This position reports to the Athletic Director.

  • Head Girls Swim Coach

    The Coach is expected to provide leadership, plan, organize, and be responsible for a comprehensive and competitive interscholastic swimming program. The Coach is also expected to demonstrate those principles of Positive Coaching Alliance as well as carry out the objectives of the school’s core principles and values in accordance with its Mission. This position reports to the Athletic Director.
