Caroline Harmon, Student-Athlete of the Week

High-school sport: Volleyball (outside hitter).

What I’ve done lately:
Leads the Mustangs (6-4) in hitting percentage (.215) and serving points (34).

Grade-point average:
4.14.

Class:
Senior.

Why I attend Mullen: It felt like home, really … I came here from St. Mary’s in Littleton and it felt like that, really comfortable … and I miss the French fries with Ranch dressing (none since the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The best thing about my sport:
I really like when the team is working well together and the energy is really going. We’re going super great, we get a great hit, awesome set, great dig, everyone working together …

In my future:
Will be attending Colorado State to study to become a veterinarian. Will major in zoology. May play some intramural volleyball and dodgeball.

Pre-Game ritual:
I listen to pump-up music. It depends on what I’m feeling for the day. Music is good. In warm-ups, I really focus on doing my technique.
