Tops were the Mustangs’ Avery Walters-Grace Brouillette, who defeated Cora Goodwin-Juliya Yusky of Palmer Ridge 6-1, 6-3 to win the No. 4 doubles title.

Mullen’s Aubryanne Leugers-Renee Hoyt finished runners-up at No. 2 doubles, where they fell to Katrina Weiskircher-Ulla Schultz of Palmer Ridge 2-6, 3-6.

“The girls played really well and there was a lot of good competition out there today,” Sturgell said.

The Mustangs entered the season minus five players from the 2021 title team and will head into 2023 having to replace four.
