'Stangs have 13 on all-5A Jeffco

Five make first team; Mullen was 4-8 in 2021, including a playoff victory.
 
Mullen had 13 players named to all-Class 5A Jefferson County League, including five on first team.

Leading the Mustangs among the league elite were Hayden Woodruff, a junior offensive lineman; Kyle Krebs, a senior running back; Jaxon Heil, a senior linebacker/safety; Ishmael Aceves, a junior named to defensive wild card; and Michael Brouillette, honored for his special-teams prowess.

As for second team, it was Harrison Schmitt, a senior offensive lineman; Nick Carje, a senior wide receiver; Hunter Lay, a junior defensive lineman; and Connor Warren, a senior linebacker.

And on honorable mention, senior defensive back Juan Bertaud, senior wide receiver Owen Hearty, sophomore linebacker A.J. Guida and senior place-kicker Bryce Sohayda made the list.

The Mustangs were 4-8 in 2021, including a home playoff victory over Douglas County.
