Dale O'Blia, Student-Athlete of the Week
Class: Junior.
Grade-point average: 4.1.
Favorite subject: Mathematics.
High-school sport: Wrestling.
What I’ve done lately: Won his third Colorado championship – a program record – the past weekend, finishing first at Class 3A 113 pounds. He won his first two championships at 106. He was 40-3 for 2022-23 and is 101-3 for his career without a loss in Colorado.
Why I attend Mullen: I attend Mullen because I believe that’s the school for the best opportunities for my future and I love that I get to expand and grow my faith everyday throughout my life.
The best thing about my sport: The thing I like the best is it allows me to be the best me and wrestling helps me grow as a person, and allows me to be healthy overall.
Planned career: Undecided.
In my immediate future: I have national tournaments the next several months, two in Virginia Beach and one in Fargo.
