Bob Caton

Varsity Head Coach
A familiar figure on the local sidelines for 44 years, 39 as a head coach, Caton, who has overseen 536 victories, is in his fourth season heading the Mustangs. Beginning at Manual in 1976, he also has been the head coach at Denver West, George Washington, Aurora Central and Highlands Ranch. As well, Caton has experience coaching baseball, cross country and football, and has coached on other levels of basketball. A winner of various coaching awards, Caton was a star player at Denver West as well as captain and MVP of his Colorado State University team. All told, Caton-coached teams have been state runners-up twice, and made six final fours and 14 Great 8s. They also have won seven league championships. Caton is retired from teaching and lives near the school.
