High-school sport: Tennis (No. 1 singles).

What I’ve done lately:
Moved up from No. 2 singles the past season on the Class 4A championship team to take over at No. 1, has won 8–of-12 matches in dual meets and leads the Mustangs into today’s regionals.

Grade-point average:
3.64.

Class:
Junior.

Why I attend Mullen: I like the atmosphere and I like the community.

The best thing about my sport:
I like the strategy.

In my future:
Considering a career in anthropology.

Pre-Game ritual:
I guess it’s that I have a friendship bracelet I always wear.

Favorite college team:
University of Colorado volleyball.

Why I play:
I like being out on the court and that it’s all on you. There’s a lot of pressure, but there’s something about that … it’s rewarding in the end if you win.
