State-Level Success: Engineering Excellence on Display
At the Colorado State Competition, both Mullen teams finished in the Top 6 in the state, competing against the strongest STEM programs in Colorado. If you're a parent in Denver, Colorado, searching for a high-level STEM program, a competitive robotics team, or hands-on engineering opportunities for your child, look no further than the Robotics program at Mullen High School. This season, Mullen Robotics once again proved why it is one of the most respected high school robotics programs in Colorado.

MECH: 1st Place Design Award & State Finalists
MECH earned the prestigious 1st Place Design Award, recognizing superior mechanical design, innovation, and engineering documentation. They advanced all the way to the final match that determined qualification for the World Championship, ultimately falling in a hard-fought match to the reigning 2025 World Champions. Competing at that level, year after year, speaks to the depth of mentorship, technical training, and student leadership within Mullen’s STEM program.
“What Could Go Wrong”: Freshmen Competing at an Elite Level
Our all-freshman team, What Could Go Wrong, made an immediate impact:
  • 3rd Place Inspire Award (the highest overall judged award)
  • Selected to compete in the playoffs with the #2-ranked team
  • Finished Top 6 in Colorado in their first year.
For a first-year team of freshmen to perform at this level demonstrates something powerful: Mullen is not just building robots — we’re building engineers, leaders, and confident problem-solvers from day one.

Invited to a National Premier Robotics Event
Although neither team advanced to the World Championship this year, both teams’ Top 6 finishes qualify them for an invitation to a Premier Event held before August. Invitations are expected around March 9. Participation in these national-level events continues to position Mullen Robotics among the most competitive high school STEM programs in the country.
