Our Coaches

Mullen coaches are more than instructors—they’re mentors, leaders, and role models. Our staff forms students through purpose, preparation, and personal integrity—on and off the field.

Recent Highlights:
  • Matt Degitis – Named 2025 Coach of the Year after leading Girls’ Soccer to a top postseason finish.
  • Tonia Jones – Guided Girls’ Basketball to the 2025 5A State Championship with a focus on defense and team culture.
  • Frank Cawley – Retired with 170 wins and a 2019 State Title; his legacy laid the foundation for continued excellence.
  • Tom Thenell – Five-time Football State Champion, setting the gold standard for Mustang leadership.
  • Savannah Zimmerman – Built a mission-driven Girls’ Lacrosse culture centered on shared strength and unity.
