Originally from Colorado Springs, Brady graduated as a Palmer Terror in 2004. He was a three-sporter – golf, ice hockey and baseball. The defenseman advanced to play at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., for two years, then moved on to the University of Arizona, where he played club hockey and graduated in 2008 with a degree in economics. He worked as a financial advisor and with Jimmy John’s as an equity partner before earning a secondary-education license from Metro State. He is teaching history at Mullen and in his sixth year as head coach. He also spent a season assisting at Denver East.
