In his first season leading the Mustangs, Coach Spencer is a former competitor at nearby Green Mountain High School in Lakewood and Colorado Mesa University … Spencer brings assorted credentials. In addition to swimming for the Jefferson County Rams and the Mavericks, he led the District 51 co-op boys team of Grand Junction, Central (G.J.), Fruita Monument and Palisade, the Griffons, for five seasons ... Also led the Fruita Monument girls and nearby Bear Creek girls. It included multiple league titles and state competitors … Spencer also has been a club coach, taught lessons, and has run and maintained assorted pools.
