Girls tennis wins by sweep; top efforts by track & field, and boys swimming and diving.
 
Mullen girls tennis moved to 3-0 in the new Season D on Saturday with a sweep of visiting Cherokee Trail in the Centennial League.

The Mustangs downed the Cougars 7-0. They are 3-0 overall, 2-0 in league.

In order, Mustangs Nos. 1-3 singles Lauren Manwiller, Alexia Yost and Marin Smith won by two-set sweeps. In doubles, Nos. 1-4 Brooklyn Hanley-Parker Durand, Izzy Desjardins-Tierney Scanlan, Aubryanne Leugers-Madeline Crites and Clara Daily-Renee Hoyt won by sweep in three of the four matches.

The Mustangs will host Smoky Hill in league on Monday, May 8, at Pinehurst Country Club, 3:45 p.m. It will be the first of four matches for Mullen this week.
