High-school sport: Swimming (100-yard butterfly and 100 breaststroke, 200 individual medley; state qualifier 3 times).
What I’ve done lately: Was third in the 100 breast in the season-opening meet at Cherry Creek.
Grade-point average: 4.3.
Class: Senior.
Why I attend Mullen: My brother (Joseph) went here and l also just loved the community feel you have here.
The best thing about my sport: Even if you’re having a bad day, you get into the pool and your spirits are immediately lifted.
In my future: I’ll attend Creighton for nursing.
Pre-Game ritual: I just go swim.
Favorite college team: No favorite.
Why I swim: I swim for kind of the reasons I said. I just love it very much and after taking a break from it, now I’m all for it. I rebounded.
