What I’ve done lately: Newton is off to a terrific start with scores of 75, ninth place; 70, third; 77, eighth; 44, weather-delayed nine holes; and 74, ninth, in assorted invitationals and Centennial League tournaments.
Why I attend Mullen: I would say I attend Mullen due to the fact that the Mullen community is unlike any other faith-based community.
The best thing about my sport: Golf is individualized, you have nobody else to blame but yourself. With you, it’s golf against golf, but it’s the greatest and the worst thing about it. You have no one to lean on. Everything is in your hands.
Planned career: I’m talking with schools for collegiate golf and I’ll probably be a dentist or a lawyer.
In my immediate future: I think our golf team can do well. Mullen can compete. I’d like to lead this team to a state championship. It’s doable and a goal for all of us.
